Cancer doesn’t clock out at work
Mar 05, 2026
When cancer enters someone’s life, it doesn’t stay at home.
It comes to work.
Employees go to treatment and still answer emails.
Caregivers sit in waiting rooms and still join meetings.
Survivors return “back to normal”… while their body and mind are still catching up.
Many workplaces have support programs.
But the truth is: a lot of employees won’t use them because they don’t want exposure.
Privacy isn’t a “nice to have.”
It’s the difference between a benefit people have and a benefit people use.
If you’re in HR/Benefits and you want to explore a private community option for employees impacted by cancer, I’m happy to share what we’re building.
