Caregivers are carrying the most
Mar 06, 2026
Caregivers don’t always say, “I’m not okay.”
They just keep going.
They manage appointments, meds, meals, emotions, work, family.
Then feel guilty for being tired.
If you’re a caregiver, I want to say this plainly:
You are allowed to need support too.
You are allowed to be heard too.
You are allowed to rest without explaining yourself.
And if you know a caregiver, don’t ask, “How can I help?”
Offer something specific: “I can do dinner Tuesday or Thursday—what works?”
Small offers remove big burdens.
