Make help specific, not vague
Mar 13, 2026
If you want to support someone during cancer, here are 5 offers that usually help more than “Let me know if you need anything”:
“I can bring dinner Tuesday or Thursday.”
“I can drive you to your appointment.”
“I can sit with you while you wait.”
“I can take your kids for two hours.”
“I can handle groceries this week.”
Support becomes real when it’s specific.
