Monday Is Not a Test
Feb 02, 2026
Monday shows up whether we’re ready or not.
For some people here, it comes with appointments on the calendar.
For others, it comes with waiting.
For many, it just comes with tired.
So let’s get one thing straight.
Monday is not asking you to be strong.
It’s not asking you to be optimistic or to have a plan.
It’s only asking you to arrive.
You can arrive unsure and discouraged.
You can arrive carrying news you haven’t processed yet.
Showing up still counts.
There’s a lot of pressure around the start of the week.
Pressure to “do better.”
Pressure to make this one different.
But you don’t owe Monday a performance.
If all you do today is get through the morning, that matters.
If you check in on someone else while holding your own weight, that matters too.
This community exists for weeks like this.
Not just the dramatic ones.
The ordinary, heavy Mondays included.
You’re allowed to take today one small step at a time.
You’re allowed to ask for support.
You’re allowed to say very little.
We’ll be here either way.
That’s the point.
