Pruning isn’t loss. It’s growth.
Apr 16, 2026
Everyone loves John 15:2 when it talks about “more fruit.”
Nobody likes the pruning part.
You want growth.
God removes what can’t grow with you.
You pray for increase.
He cuts what’s been quietly draining you.
And suddenly you’re confused.
Because you thought favor would feel like addition.
Sometimes it feels like subtraction.
But God doesn’t prune randomly.
He prunes intentionally.
He’s not reducing you.
He’s refining the outcome.
So stop interpreting every loss as failure.
Some of it is God refusing to let you stay small.
