Cancer changes how you read a good day.
It may not arrive with energy.
Or relief.
Or certainty.
Sometimes it arrives as stability.
Nothing worse than yesterday.
Nothing new to manage.
Just a body that holds its ground.
A steady day can pass without celebration.
It may look uneventful from the outside.
But stability is not the absence of progress.
It is what allows progress to build.
Today may simply hold.
That is movement in the right direction.
