Sundays slow me down just enough to remember who I am

Dec 05, 2025

Sundays slow me down just enough to remember who I am—and Whose I am.

I’m a founder, yes.
But before that, I’m a believer.
And that changes how I build.

My strategy doesn’t start with spreadsheets or projections.
It starts with stillness.
With listening.
With asking one simple question:
“Lord, what would You have me do this week?”

Because I’ve learned that vision can come quickly…
but clarity often comes quietly.

Some weeks I feel strong, inspired, full of momentum.
Other weeks I feel stretched thin, unsure, or overwhelmed.
But every week, without fail, God meets me where I am
and gives me just enough light for the next step.

CancerWalk wasn’t created from a business plan.
It was born from a calling —
a God-planted burden to build a place
where people walking through cancer never walk alone.

So as a faith-driven founder, I’ve stopped asking for the “easy” path.
Instead, I ask for the guided one.
The one aligned with purpose, not pressure.
The one where obedience matters more than outcomes.

If you’re building something that feels bigger than you:
Take heart.
You’re not building it alone.
And the One who called you will equip you.
